Dr. Jack Howard
Dr. Jack Howard obtained his bachelor's degree in psychology from Spring Hill College in May 2015, where he also competed as a member of the varsity baseball team. He earned his Master's degree in Counseling Psychology in 2017 and his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology in 2021 from The University of Southern Mississippi. Dr. Jack also completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford Medicine with a specialization in Sport and Performance Psychology in 2022.

Dr. Jack maintains a wide range of clinical experiences ranging from inpatient psychiatric settings to college university counseling centers. In recent years, Dr. Jack has primarily acted as a licensed psychologist within university, hospital, or athletic settings. He is trained in counseling psychology as well as sport/performance psychology. Dr. Jack has worked in four Division I athletic departments specializing in student-athlete mental health. Further, Dr. Jack is an active member of the Clinical/Counseling Sport Psychology Association and is in pursuit of his Mental Performance Coaching Certificate (CMPC).

Dr. Jack provides virtual psychotherapy services for general mental health concerns, sport-specific distress, and sport performance enhancement. Specifically, he is proficient in cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness-acceptance-commitment approaches. Dr. Jack Howard also provides assessment and consultation services.
Dr. Jack is currently licensed in Alabama (#2283) and California (#34404). He also is PSYPACT® credentialed (#18500), which allows for Dr. Jack to provide virtual services in many other states.
